Ever since the end of April I’ve been working for the US Census Bureau & today was our official last day of work. *Crossing my fingers that they somehow find work & need enumerators to work for a few days* I have absolutely enjoyed my position as an enumerator. I’ve met some very nice co-workers & people in general & some very rude people. Overall, it was a relaxing & fun job & I can use this job experience for my resume. Hopefully, I can find a permanent job soon at the upcoming census fair that I am attending. *Praying* Thank you to my supervisor Laura, co-worker Luis & the U.S. census bureau for hiring me (& helping me pay off some of my credit card debt)!!

Census Job DONE
Friday, July 30th, 2010Enjoying Work
Friday, May 28th, 2010Life is good when you have a J-O-B. I can actually pay off my debt and eat out without feeling so guilt. I also enjoy the nice people I meet w/my census job however it’s temporary. Still looking for a permanent job. If anyone have any leads please give me a good recommendation.
Ross Shopping Spree
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010Before Trinh sold her car, she bought me some work related clothes for my new Census job at Ross. She felt she owed me for always helping her with her S14. Of course I wanted to go to Ross because it was cheaper for clothes and we can get more quantity. I tried to find work pants but it was hard so Trinh ended up finding me some really cute tops. A few of the tops are not work related but are cute for clubbing and everyday wear. She also got me some cute black work shoes too but I forgot to take a picture. LOL! Thanks again Trinh! I totally appreciate all of the clothes & will wear them all. ![]()

Census 2010
Saturday, April 24th, 2010A week ago, I got a call back from the U.S. Census office. I called in to schedule a time to take the census test, took the test & waited for my call back. I didn’t think I would get the job because I got 21/28 which is not that great. Either way I got a temporary JOB now! Yay I’ll be a working woman for the next 6 weeks! Apparently, they need people in my geographical area & my test score was decent & I have at least an AA degree.
This bus reminded me to blog about my new J-o-B! Don’t forget to fill out your census forms or I might be at your door. LOL!
