626 Ladies Drift Aesthetics
Monday, May 3rd, 2010626 Drift held the 1st ever Ladies Drift Aesthetics on May 2nd 2010 & I was stoked to attend the event. Kat finally came out of her shell & brought out her brown GT-R colored 180SX. Got to finally briefly meet “Vanessa Lam” my long lost family member, so coincidental that she’s into cars & has my last name too. Glad to see a bunch of girl drifters out driving together for a fun filled day without drama. I didn’t realize that their were so many girl drifters out there they actually go out to track days & have really nice drift cars. Too bad I didn’t get to meet all of the girls, it would have been nice to make some new girl drifter friends, next time I guess. Maybe we can just all meet up & have dinner like a girl drifters meet-up in 626 area? We can call it the “626 girl drifters meet-up.” LOL! Thanks to Ray, Denise, Kat, Jason, Charlie, Johnson and the rest of the 626 staff for such an epic event!
Btw, here are the nominal amount of photos I took. I apologize if I didn’t take a photo of you, I was too focused on drifting @ the event. And, please don’t mind that I am trying to take artistic angle type photos. I am in such dire need of a fish-eye lens *hint* *hint*
Zingy Fried Rice & Pork
Friday, April 30th, 2010As I was browsing through my Martha Stewart Food magazine I found this great recipe. So, I made it with slight modifications, I used tomatoe instead of red bell peppers & used Chinese sausage instead of the regular American sausage. Ray is raving about this “zingy fried rice” and I made pork to go with it. I usually make fried rice and pork but this time I marinated both very different. The rice has this zingy wake me up tast.
Steak sauce fried pork:
*A1 sauce
*Worchester sauce
*Soy sauce
*Black pepper
*Butter
*Garlic (finely chopped)
Cost $6 serves 3 people
Zingy Fried Rice
*4 Tomatoes
*Celery (cut into small cubes)
*Chinese sausage
*Green onions (finely chopped)
*White rice
*Oyster mushroom
*Soy sauce
*Black Pepper
*Garlic powder
Cost $8 serves 4 people
Ross Shopping Spree
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010Before Trinh sold her car, she bought me some work related clothes for my new Census job at Ross. She felt she owed me for always helping her with her S14. Of course I wanted to go to Ross because it was cheaper for clothes and we can get more quantity. I tried to find work pants but it was hard so Trinh ended up finding me some really cute tops. A few of the tops are not work related but are cute for clubbing and everyday wear. She also got me some cute black work shoes too but I forgot to take a picture. LOL! Thanks again Trinh! I totally appreciate all of the clothes & will wear them all.

Monday, April 26th, 2010Last weekend I picked this up for BeDea & my Mom… pretty interesting that you can change sides of the comforter for summer & winter. It’s microsuede, comes w/sheets, pillow cases and it’s soil resistent. I guess it better have great features for $130!
Tokidoki Citta Print
Thursday, April 22nd, 2010I posted a blog on here & on facebook about trading my Hello Kitty & Tokidoki items for other similar items. Well, I got a response from Erin. So, we communicated through email & mailed each other our bags. I traded my Tokidoki Ciao Ciao Transporto bag for Erin’s Tokidoki Ciao Ciao Citta print bag. Her bag was in immaculate condition like she never used hers while mine had a few dirt stains. I am happy hope she is as well. I love the tokidoki citta print!
