I’ve been craving some ceviche, but seeing as how I am on a budget I decided to make some. The picture does it no justice but it’s so yummy & sour. :)

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Last night was my first time attempting to make CEVICHE! As you have heard me say constantly about how addicted I am to the delicious food. I didn’t realize how easy it was to make, BUT it took me 30 minutes to cut the onions, cucumbers & cilantro. Overall it came out good & I ate it w/tostadas.

Here are the ingredients for Amanda’s Homemade CEVICHE:

*3 sliced cucumbers

*1 red onion

*1 stock of cilantro

*7 squeezed lemons

*Salt & Pepper to taste

*Tostadas

Total cost $13 serves 4 people

Northgate Market Ceviche

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

Tried the ceviche here & it is definetly worth the blog. The guy there kept telling me it was really HOT but I don’t think he knew that I can handle my spicy. Hence, I only got a small portion for $3.51. Nevertheless, I think it is totally yummy & worth getting dirty looks for Flor’s people for. Yay, shrimp ceviche!!!!! I really am going to try to make this one of these days.
