Thoughtful gifts

Monday, April 11th, 2011

Sometimes Ray can be SO thoughtful & romantic. For instance, when we went to Sanrio @Japanese Village Plaza together, I glanced at the SEGA UFO Claw Machine w/Hello Kitty plushies before walking into the Sanrio store. Of course, he knew I wanted one! What does Ray do? Pulls out his $$$dollar$$$ bills & gets to work on getting me at least 1 hello kitty plush. So adorable, thanks Ray_babes! He ended up getting 3 w/the help of other hello kitty fanatics… we were all cheering each other on & giving each other helpful hints.. so it turned out to be really fun! $12 later, 3 hello kitty plushies so it’s $4/each hello kitty plush! Not bad, seeing as how retail is $22/each for the pink hello kitty plush & $7.95/each for the purple hello kitty plush… I think we got a great deal. And, to top that awesome day off, he got me roses… only because I liked the turquoise/light blue color rose. $5 roses from some mexican dude selling it.. so if I kill the roses, I won’t feel so bad.. it’s only $5… :P Love you Ray_Babes!

Extra Large Onions?

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

I asked Ray to pick up some lettuce @ Albertson’s so he does as well as picking up these HUMONGOUS veggie! The width of the veggie as big as a water bottle & it’s tall as a keyboard. The pictures show it no justice, they are so cool!! Apparently, Ray & I thought it was HUGE onions but it’s some type of veggie called rodai?

Mountain High Snowboarding

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Today I went to Mountain High to go snowboarding. I’ve NEVER gone snowboarding before & have never seen snow so this was an interesting experience. Originally we were suppose to go to Mountain Watermen but we took Angeles Crest for an hour & icy snow block off the road to get there. We wanted to try out a new place that Chris’s co-worker recommended that was not packed & different. Now, I understand why no one went there because most of the routes to get there were IMPOSSIBLE. The 2 was closed, the Angeles forest crest was blocked off due to icy snow & who knows what else. So, we decided to go back & just go to Mountain High.

I like Mountain High except for the fact that I can’t snowboard & I got really scared. I need to learn how to stop the snowboard. I fell probably 50 times trying to stop or because I felt I was going so fast. I did learn a little bit but I need to get my own snowboard not use Ruben’s. Ruben’s board was not set up for my normal feet. Maybe, next winter season when I get more comfortable I will want to go snowboarding.
