As I was browsing through my Martha Stewart Food magazine I found this great recipe. So, I made it with slight modifications, I used tomatoe instead of red bell peppers & used Chinese sausage instead of the regular American sausage. Ray is raving about this “zingy fried rice” and I made pork to go with it. I usually make fried rice and pork but this time I marinated both very different. The rice has this zingy wake me up tast.
Steak sauce fried pork:
*A1 sauce
*Worchester sauce
*Soy sauce
*Black pepper
*Butter
*Garlic (finely chopped)
Cost $6 serves 3 people
Zingy Fried Rice
*4 Tomatoes
*Celery (cut into small cubes)
*Chinese sausage
*Green onions (finely chopped)
*White rice
*Oyster mushroom
*Soy sauce
*Black Pepper
*Garlic powder
Cost $8 serves 4 people

Sporadically I try out new recipes I find online or in magazines BUT I think the choices are dwindling. Luckily, I found this quick TUNA MELT SANDWICH recipe inside Martha Stewart food magazine. So yummy!
Ingredients:
(4) Cans of Starkist Tuna
3 spoons of Mayonaisse
Sprits of Oregno
2 Tomatoes
2 slices of Monterey Jack Cheese
Wheat Bread
Total Cost $18 serves 5 people

Last weekend I picked this up for BeDea & my Mom… pretty interesting that you can change sides of the comforter for summer & winter. It’s microsuede, comes w/sheets, pillow cases and it’s soil resistent. I guess it better have great features for $130!

Trinh finally sold her S14. She got a good amount of money out of the car where it is actually worth it for her to sell it. I think we are both bummed because we LOVE S14′s. We dropped off the car yesterday in LA to the new owner & he’s really nice. I know that Trinh’s old S14 will get taken care of & see all of Hollywood. Trinh, hope you are doing O-K!

Did you know that Jamba Juice is having BOGO (Buy 1 get 1 free) smoothies for their 20th anniversary. Well, only if you have a coupon that most people who subscribe to their website have. Either way you can get just someone to forward you the coupon. I’ve been going for the past 2 days wish I would have went every day since the coupon became effective on 4/12 but gotta save money.

A week ago, I got a call back from the U.S. Census office. I called in to schedule a time to take the census test, took the test & waited for my call back. I didn’t think I would get the job because I got 21/28 which is not that great. Either way I got a temporary JOB now! Yay I’ll be a working woman for the next 6 weeks! Apparently, they need people in my geographical area & my test score was decent & I have at least an AA degree.
This bus reminded me to blog about my new J-o-B! Don’t forget to fill out your census forms or I might be at your door. LOL!
